![]() ![]() ![]() I launched Steam so I could download the rest of APB Reloaded to play with my friends, I went out and left it to download and came back to the PC with a window saying 'Windows just recovered from an unexpected shutdown', and guess what it was? The infamous blue screen. Today as I'm writing this, I started my PC up this morning and all was fine. I then finally gave up and went to bed extremely worried. I then launched GTA4 up again and managed to make it past the loading screen and made it into game, I started the game from inside and as soon as I walked out the apartment, boom blue screen with the same error again. After launching up GTA4, as soon as I clicked Start, boom another blue screen with the same error. I then went to switch around the RAM to a different dual channel and then booted my PC up again, that made it even worse. Later on that day after playing San Andreas Multiplayer, Nightly (64-bit beta version of Firefox) crashed and as soon as I went to send an error report, the blue screen popped up again with the same error message 'Memory_Management'. I had it on max settings and was getting around 40fps average. So then I went to install Grand Theft Auto IV and other games like Borderlands 2 and Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Borderlands 2 and Deus Ex worked fine although they're not the most demanding games out there, but Grand Theft Auto IV was working fine as well. However this time it was a 'Memory_Management' error instead. ![]() Until I went to shut down that night, I got another blue screen. If I can remember I got the error 'Nonpaged_area' or something along those lines, this worried me a little but it was fine after that. Until I started playing PlanetSide 2 (max settings at about 70fps depending on map), I got the infamous blue screen for the first time. Games were starting up so fast, loading screens were fast and everything else was. I spent about £700 on a new PC idealised for gaming, and to play demanding games like PlanetSide 2 and Grand Theft Auto IV etc.Īnyhow, before I installed PlanetSide 2, everything was working like a dream. ![]()
